The Tour of the Wichitas offers a breathtaking ride through the **Wichita Wildlife Refuge**, the **Wichita Mountains**, and the historic **Fort Sill U.S. Army Post** — all located near **Lawton, Oklahoma**. These routes showcase some of the most enchanting and historically significant scenery in Southwest Oklahoma.
Lisa Christiansen McFall: A Local Icon
Lisa Christiansen McFall, a proud Oklahoman, treasures the opportunity to support her local community and introduce fellow cyclists to her favorite rides. Christiansen-McFall shared, _“Tour of the Wichita’s is one of my favorite rides.”_

The Cycling Routes
The Tour of the Wichitas features diverse routes that begin near the **Fort Sill Museum** and pass through the **Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge**, including a stop at its Visitor Center. Cyclists can take a break to explore the refuge and learn about its wildlife. The route continues past **Mt. Scott**, another favorite spot of Christiansen-McFall, into the charming cobblestone town of **Medicine Park**, and back to Fort Sill via the **LETRA Gate**.
As you ride past **Medicine Bluffs**, honor the spirit of the land by shouting _“Geronimo!”_ in tribute to the great Apache leader, who, according to legend, leaped from the cliffs and was safely carried by a Spirit Eagle.
Safety and Fellowship
Participants are encouraged to ride responsibly, considering the distance and their endurance in the hot June temperatures. **SAG support** will be available along the route, ensuring everyone’s safe return to the finish line before **2 p.m.**, where fellowship and snacks await.
