Passengers on an American Airways flight from america to Italy have been compelled to take a bus to their last vacation spot after their plane was compelled to land 140 miles away as a result of it was too massive to land on the unique vacation spot.

American Airways Flight 780 left Philadelphia Worldwide Airport at 7:42 p.m. native time on Monday and was purported to land in Naples, Italy, at 10 a.m. native time, in keeping with FlightAware.

Nevertheless, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner plane was off the coast of Italy, about midway between Rome and Naples, when it abruptly circled over the Tyrrhenian Sea and turned again to the Italian capital.

American Airways instructed CBS Information that the plane was compelled to divert to Rome Fiumicino Airport “due to operational limitations.” There have been 231 passengers and 11 crew members aboard the flight.

Historic flight knowledge reveals that American Airways normally flies a Boeing 787-8 to Naples, about 20 ft shorter than the 787-9.

After the flight landed in Rome, passengers have been bused to Naples – a roughly 3-hour journey.

“We apologize to them for this disruption to their journey,” American Airways instructed CBS Information in a press release.

An aviation-focused account on X, @xjonnyc, was the primary to report the incident.
