The Lamborghini Marzal is a one-off idea automobile unveiled on the 1967 Geneva Motor Present, designed by Marcello Gandini of Bertone.
Created to offer Ferruccio Lamborghini with a real four-seater, it was powered by a 2.0 L inline-six engine producing 175 bhp and had an estimated prime velocity of 118 mph. The automobile featured a lengthened and stiffened Miura chassis with a 2,620 mm wheelbase, an aluminum entrance hood, metal bodywork, and a gross weight of two,690 kilos.
Distinctive components included glazed gull-wing doorways, a hexagonal motif within the inside and rear window, silver upholstery, and distinctive Campagnolo magnesium wheels. Although it remained a one-off, its daring design influenced the later Lamborghini Espada and demonstrated Lamborghini’s revolutionary method to automotive design.
