A decide is suspending a call on whether or not to undo President-elect Donald Trump’s conviction in his hush-money case due to a U.S. Supreme Court docket ruling on presidential immunity.
New York Decide Juan M. Merchan had been set to rule Tuesday. As a substitute, he advised Trump’s legal professionals Tuesday he’d delay the ruling till Nov. 19.
In line with emails filed in court docket, Trump’s legal professionals requested for the delay over the weekend, arguing there are “strong reasons for the requested stay, and eventually dismissal of the case in the interests of justice.”
