Dick Damron, singer and songwriter, died at 91 on Saturday.
The loss of life of the Canadian Nation Music Corridor of Fame member was shared by the household.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Canadian country music legend Dick Damron, who left this world with the same quiet grace and spirit that defined his life and career,” the assertion learn, per Style of Nation.
Damron wrote songs for the likes for Charley Satisfaction and George Hamilton.
“Countryfied” and “The Long Green Line” have been two of Damron’s higher recognized songs, however, per the report, he additionally reached No. 1 in Canada with “Hitch Hikin’,” “Rise ‘n’ Shine,” “On the Road” and “Susan Flowers.”
