France and the EU Fee co-hosted a convention in Paris on Might 5 entitled “Choose Europe for science”, with the said aim of creating the EU “a magnet for researchers”, in response to Fee President Ursula von der Leyen. The EU is hoping to capitalise on the stress that the Trump administration is placing on universities and a few analysis amenities, to maybe appeal to US scientists to Europe. However is that this a pipe dream? And are there not too many boundaries contained in the EU to make it a very world hub for innovation? We put these inquiries to our visitor, Roxana Minzatu. She is without doubt one of the government vice-presidents of the European Fee, and her broad portfolio consists of social rights, abilities, high quality jobs, and preparedness.
