Fannie and Freddie: Single Household Critical Delinquency Charge Ticked Up in August – Indignant Bear

Freddie Mac reported that the Single-Household severe delinquency price in August was 0.52%, up from 0.51% June. Freddie’s price is down year-over-year from 0.55% in August 2023.  That is under the pre-pandemic lows.

Freddie’s severe delinquency price peaked in February 2010 at 4.20% following the housing bubble and peaked at 3.17% in August 2020 in the course of the pandemic.
