FEMA fires supervisor who advised employees to skip properties with Trump indicators

A Federal Emergency Administration Company worker who ordered employees to bypass properties with yard indicators supporting President-elect Donald Trump has been fired, the company’s head mentioned Saturday. 

“This is a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation,” FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell mentioned in an announcement. “This was reprehensible.” 

The incident occurred in Lake Placid, Florida, when a supervisor for the catastrophe reduction company instructed their crew to “avoid homes advertising Trump” whereas canvassing residents who might qualify for federal assist following Hurricane Milton, in accordance to the Day by day Wire. 

A minimum of 20 properties with Trump indicators or flags have been skipped from the top of October and into November because of the steering, the information outlet reported Friday.
