Vice President Kamala Harris is sitting down with CNN this week for her first interview since President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid.
She might be joined by her working mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in a joint interview with CNN anchor Dana Bash in Savannah, Georgia.
The interview will air at 9 p.m. Thursday Jap time.
Harris has been criticized for not holding information conferences or granting interviews with information retailers since Biden stepped apart on July 21.
Donald Trump’s marketing campaign has saved a tally of the times she has passed by as a candidate with out giving an interview. On Tuesday, the marketing campaign reacted to the information by noting the interview was joint, saying “she’s not competent sufficient to do it on her personal.”
Earlier this month, Harris had instructed reporters that she wished to do her first formal interview earlier than the tip of August.
