Centre, Tamil Nadu Spar Over NEP

Central and Tamil Nadu have engaged in an open confrontation over three language coverage – Hindi, English and a regional language – listed within the NEP 2020, creating an issue.

The regional social gathering mentioned that it will not budge from its two-language coverage.

“The continued opposition to NEP 2020 for political reasons deprives students, teachers, and educational institutions in Tamil Nadu of the immense opportunities and resources that this policy offers. Reacting to Pradhan’s feedback, Tamil Nadu Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin mentioned that the state will comply with a two-language coverage — Tamil and English.
