Talks resume this Monday in Geneva between Iran and the UK, France and Germany over Tehran’s nuclear programme. The discussions are a continuation of ones held final month and are available forward of the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump subsequent week. The talks are described by all sides as “consultations” slightly than “negotiations”, however France’s international ministry says they intend to work in the direction of a diplomatic resolution to the Iranian nuclear programme, the progress of which it calls extraordinarily problematic.
