Peel Regional Police say a person has been shot in an officer-involved taking pictures at Toronto Pearson Airport on Thursday morning.
The taking pictures occurred exterior Terminal 1 at round 7 a.m. Police stated the officer was not harm.
“This is an isolated incident and there are no known threats to public safety,” police stated.
Police stated the Particular Investigations Unit (SIU) has been contacted. The SIU confirmed to International Information they’re investigating a police-involved taking pictures on the airport.
The SIU acts because the province’s police watchdog and investigates numerous incidents akin to officer-involved shootings.
