McEnany: Harris marketing campaign taking part in ‘sufferer card’ after loss

Fox Information co-host Kayleigh McEnany argued that Vice President Harris’s marketing campaign is taking part in the “victim card” within the aftermath of her loss to President-elect Trump within the 2024 presidential election. 

Whereas internet hosting Fox Information’s “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Wednesday evening, McEnany pushed again on the assorted analyses Harris’s marketing campaign aides shared this week for why the vice chairman didn’t succeed within the election earlier this month. 

McEnany confirmed a clip of CNN commentator and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers (D), who criticized Harris’s marketing campaign crew members for a “lack of self-awareness” and lack of “self-reflection” when reacting to their remarks on Crooked Media’s “Pod Save America.”

“The inability to figure out a way in which you could win this race simply providing messaging and saying that we’re up, where by you don’t believe that in your heart of hearts to be true. I just think was disappointing,” Sellers mentioned on CNN. 

Throughout her monologue, McEnany mentioned the “campaign is not in the mood to be lectured by Bakari Sellers. They are playing the victim card.” 

She then performed a clip of Quentin Fulks, Harris’s deputy marketing campaign supervisor, saying on “Pod Save America” this week that Democrats scrutinize their leaders greater than Republicans do Trump. 

“Republicans don’t make Trump apologize,” Fulks mentioned. “And as Stephanie [Cutter] said, we don’t have to mimic it. But I think that there are a lot of times where, if you’re in the Democratic Party and you step out of line, yeah, you get punished for it.” 

Harris addressed supporters and her donors throughout a name on Tuesday, throughout which she tried to share some optimism within the aftermath of the overall election loss. 

“I just have to remind you: Don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before Nov. 5, and you have the same purpose that you did, and you have the same ability to engage and inspire,” Harris mentioned through the assembly. 

She thanked the donors for supporting her regardless of the marketing campaign’s spending coming beneath scrutiny in current weeks. 

“The outcome of this election is obviously not what we wanted. It is not what we worked so hard for, but I am proud of the race we ran, and your role in this was critical,” she mentioned.
