Mia Love — the primary Black Republican girl to serve in Congress — has died on the age of 49.

“With grateful hearts filled to overflowing for the profound influence of Mia on our lives, we want you to know that she passed away peacefully today. She was in her home surrounded by family,” reads the announcement, which was posted on each X and Fb.
“Within the midst of a celebration of her life and an avalanche of blissful reminiscences, Mia quietly slipped the bands of mortality and, as her phrases and imaginative and prescient all the time did, soared heavenward.
“We are thankful for the many good wishes, prayers and condolences. We are taking some time as a family and will provide information about funeral services and a public celebration of her life in the days to come.”

Mia Love’s reason for loss of life revealed
Love had been battling mind most cancers for a number of years on the time of her passing.
Earlier this month, her daughter Abigale revealed that Mia’s most cancers was not responding to therapy.
The previous consultant of Utah’s fourth district had remained lively in politics within the years since she misplaced her 2018 re-election marketing campaign.
Nevertheless, in latest months, Love’s sickness compelled her to step away from public life.

Recognized for her principled, “old school” model of conservatism, Love didn’t endorse Donald Trump when he ran for president in 2016.
She grew to become more and more crucial of his insurance policies within the years that adopted and, in flip, didn’t obtain his endorsement when she sought re-election.
Within the years after she left workplace, Love inspired different girls of coloration to enter politics.
“People like the idea of women running, they do, especially a woman of color, but the efforts don’t go far enough,’’ she told USA Today in 2022. “I certainly hope that I won’t be the last one. I really do.”
