Microsoft has mentioned it has began to “deploy a fix” after customers reported issues with Outlook and Groups.
The know-how big mentioned on Monday that customers had been impacted as a result of a “recent change” to its Trade On-line programme.
The problem meant customers struggled to ship or load attachments to emails when utilizing Outlook, have been unable to connect with the server, and in some circumstances couldn’t log into their accounts.
Microsoft Trade On-line is a platform for enterprise communication that has a mail server and cloud apps for e mail, contacts, and calendars.
In a submit on X on Monday afternoon, Microsoft 365 Standing mentioned it had reverted the change and “started to deploy a fix which is currently progressing through the affected environment”.
It added: “While this progresses, we’re beginning manual restarts on a subset of machines that are in an unhealthy state.”
By 2pm Microsoft’s personal service standing web site mentioned all programs have been operating usually.
Down Detector, an internet site that tracks outages, mentioned tech issues began at roughly 8am.
Customers from the UK and round Europe took to social media to report they have been having issues accessing the platform.
One person wrote: “When you need to check an important mail, but #outlook decides to not work…”
