Albert Guillaume, born in Paris in 1873, was a French painter and caricaturist celebrated for his satirical illustrations and placing Belle Époque posters.
His sharp, humorous drawings appeared in main Parisian humor magazines, the place he cleverly critiqued the social and political local weather of his time. Influenced by Jules Chéret, he additionally crafted theater and promoting posters that had been featured within the prestigious *Les Maîtres de l’Affiche* assortment.
