This Artist Reimagined Iconic Logos With a Enjoyable 80s Makeover – Design You Belief — Design Every day Since 2007

For several years, Czech designer Kostya Petrenko has been creatively reimagining today’s most recognizable logos with a fun 1980s makeover.

His ongoing project breathes new life into modern brands like Netflix, Instagram, Google, Spotify, Duolingo, PayPal, and PlayStation, by transforming their sleek contemporary designs into ones that echo the era of arcade games and neon lights. Each redesign incorporates the bold gradients, chunky typography, and vivid color palettes typical of the ’80s. To complete the retro effect, Kostya adds a cool CRT TV filter, making the designs look as if they’re flickering on the tube TVs from our childhoods.
