The Transportation Security Board is investigating after two CN rail trains crashed into one another early Sunday morning west of Edson, Alta.
In line with CN Rail spokesperson Ashley Michnowski, preliminary studies present the 2 trains sideswiped one another in a low-speed collision.
RCMP say they responded to the decision round 7:10 am close to Freeway 47 and Township Street 530, about 13 kilometres west of Edson.

Cpl. Mathew Howell instructed International Information one prepare was carrying grain whereas the opposite prepare was hauling a load of batteries.
“Initial reports indicated a possible brake failure,” Cpl. Howell mentioned.
The railway says because of this, a number of vehicles carrying grain derailed.
There have been no accidents reported.
Michnowski says CN crews in addition to native first responders stay on scene to analyze.
“There were no fires or hazardous materials involved, the tracks remain closed at this time. CN would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by this incident,” Michnowski mentioned in an announcement.
