
LANDOVER — The Washington Football Team is treating the third preseason game as a fourth preseason game.
In the NFL’s first year of trimming down the exhibition season by one game, Washington elected to sit a number of starters and notable reserves Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens — including quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick was among more than 25 players on the field pregame for a workout who are not expected to play.
