Tritan Ventures from Ann Arbor, Michigan designed the A2, an aerodynamically superior car with a drag coefficient of 0.15 and stability from airfoils that produced a sail impact for added thrust.
Constructed from fiberglass with a monocoque design, the light-weight 900-pound A2 was powered by a 440cc Syvaro rotary engine, delivering 30 horsepower and reaching 80 miles per gallon. Categorised as a motorbike attributable to its three-wheel configuration, the A2 caught the curiosity of Domino’s Pizza, which ordered 10 items for supply car trials. Regardless of preliminary trials, the A2 didn’t safe a everlasting position in Domino’s supply fleet, ending its prospects in that market.
