Washington — An evenly divided Supreme Courtroom on Thursday upheld a decrease court docket choice that invalidated a contract permitted the Oklahoma Statewide Constitution Faculty Board that established the nation’s first non secular constitution college.

The excessive court docket break up 4-4, which leaves in place the choice of the Oklahoma Supreme Courtroom. Justice Amy Coney Barrett didn’t take part within the case.
