Many vacationers who go to Rome, Italy, discover themselves at one of the vital iconic architectural marvels on this planet: the Colosseum.

And now vacationers visiting the famed Colosseum could have a better time of it, as Italian authorities have concluded a crackdown on ticketing insurance policies that made it tougher for guests to entry the landmark. 

The Italian Competitors Authority discovered that companies have been exploiting vacationers through the use of practices that made it tougher for normal guests to purchase fundamental on-line tickets, in response to The Related Press (AP).

The Colosseum was Italy’s most-visited landmark, attracting over 12 million vacationers in 2023 alone, in response to AP. 

“The investigation was launched in July 2023, after the Authority gathered information indicating that the online purchase of tickets to access the Colosseum Archaeological Park was essentially impossible,” the group mentioned in a press launch.

The Cooperative Tradition Society managed ticket purchases to the Colosseum from 1997 to 2024.
